Race Information : 6x1 Ultra Teams :

 

ULTRA TEAM 6 x 1

  • Ultra teams need only one vehicle (see Rules).
  • In order to keep the mileage relatively even, 6 x 1 Ultra team exchanges are made at Exchange Points 5, 10, 16, 22, and 30.
  • Ultra team vans are not allowed, for any reason, to pace their runners. However, the vans can arrange to meet a runner at any Exchange Point along their route to refuel (water, energy bars, etc.)
  • Ultra Team runners may have a pacer on foot. ALL pacers must have a light and wear a reflective vest from dusk to dawn. Ultra 6x1 teams may also have a bicycle pace/assist them between sunset and sunrise. A reflective vest and front and back lights on the bicycle are required. ALL pacers must follow all runner rules.
