I just have to let you know that this was the very best race I have ever run in. I usually bypass races because I get too nervous, but this race was so much FUN that I am going to run it every year until I keel over. I can't stop thinking about it and you can bet that we are going to be one of the teams that sign up in October. I (and my team) appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. I was the captain of our team and felt like I had a big load to carry to make certain our 12 person team ran smoothly, and you organize it for everyone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We'll see you next year, and I'm going to be MUCH faster!

I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful race you put on. We were the 5 person team of "Taking It Up The Pass". 3 of our team have done multiple IRONMAN races, etc. However, we had 2 ladies who had never run more than a 10k before this race. They were very inspirational to do what they did to get our team to the finish line (time was not our goal, finishing was). What a struggle, but a lovely one at that. Never had more pain and fun at the same time. On behalf of my whole team, THANKS. We will return.

Congratulations on organizing a top notch event! Having run XXX a couple times I think you have surpassed that relay in terms of logistics and planning. Even though your course and the terrain is obviously more challenging I would choose WWR over XXX any day!

I just wanted to drop a note to say thanks for directing the race. I don't know exactly what was different, but it seemed like the relay went more smoothly from top to bottom than in the last couple of years. Our team had a fantastic time, and we'll do our best to get back again next year.

My questions are answered and the directions are specific. You have perfected this relay. I know on race day things will flow smoothly and there will be nothing but great adventures in store. Just finished the run yesterday and may I say it was one of the best-organized events I've ever been in.  I cannot praise you enough on what a great job you all did: the mapping, the prep work (getting info out on what to bring, what to expect, what to do), the exchanges - from start to finish I was constantly amazed on how well run everything SEEMED to go (you all might have a different perspective!). Thanks for such a well-organized relay.  I would highly recommend this run to anyone who wants to have a good time and a challenging course.

Thanks so much from the members of The Grateful Tread for what has to be one of the best running experiences we've all had.  The racecourse was beautiful, the organization remarkable, and the spirit incredible.  You should feel pretty damn good about pulling this event off while raising nearly $10,000 for worthwhile causes.

This was an excellent race and all our team members had a wonderful time. We couldn't think of anything that should be done differently! The volunteers were well trained, very nice and helpful. The 1-mile-to-go signs were a huge hit as well. We enjoyed the camaraderie and good-natured competitiveness with the other teams. Thank you for all of your hard work. It is obvious that this was organized by a runner for other runners and we appreciate everything. Congratulations on a successful event!

What can I say, but "WOW!"  You, and your coordinating team, were fantastic.  The entire team felt that this was definitely one of the best-organized races we've ever experienced.... and that includes my Dad (our driver) who has been running races for over 55 years!  As much as I expected from this race, I also expected some "first time" problems  -- what a surprise when NONE of them surfaced.  As I said, WOW!!!

The finish was well done. As a group, my team, the Delirious Dozen, have all committed to doing it again next year - and that was decided sometime around 2am Saturday morning, before the fun of Rabbit Ears came to us.

I just wanted you to know that this race was so wonderful for Matt.  He did incredible with the support of his pacer and came back from the experience with a new sense of accomplishment, victory and hope.  It's been a long time since I've seen him doing so well.  He gets up every morning ready to workout (we've been home for 5 days and have already been to 4 spinning classes) and ready to help around the house (I really like this one).  I think that this race gave him more confidence because he was part of a team and because he succeeded so well.  We both appreciate this opportunity and of course we really appreciate all of the encouragement from well-wishers.

Please know that the “Napa Valley Mealybugs” had a fabulous time!! Any number of times, team members commented on the organization of the event, from soup to nuts, the pleasant interactions with the organizers, volunteers, and the runners. I don’t know how it could have been better other than to have had my legs move faster!!

I did some quick calculating on our race fee plus the extra donation. We paid $0.53 per mile for an outstandingly grand amount of fun. A recent marathon that my wife and I signed up for is costing us $2.10 per mile and it will all be over in 4 - 5 hours. This is the best bargain in running! The Dallas Hill Wranglers are planning to return next year to defend our Flatlanders title. Thanks again for a great race.
